Description: |
I have done this to my JavaDoc from J2SDK 1.4.0 and love it. This technique works even betten with Tcl/Tk man2html pages thanks to the keywords being embedded in the HTML files. In short, I am not advocating CHM as a Good Idea(tm), but if you are stuck in Windows and need searchable, indexed access to the Tcl/Tk documentation, this will go a long way toward that end. The zip contains the 8.4.0 hhc (table of contents), hhp (project file), and the perl script I used to build the hhc. Put the hhc and hhp in the "html" directory and compile using HTML Help Workshop (freely available from Microsoft).
