Description:
The TEA build stuff used by sampleextension also
has problems dealing with spaces in paths.  Here's
a patch.

the intent of the patch was to
allow for spaces in path names
on unix -- no testing was
done on Windows.

The patch is old enough now,
it's not clear whether it can
reasonably be adapted, or it's
easier just to start over.

handle it on unix as well?
