I have modifications that i regularly change in tk8.*/console.tcl script, that i feel makes the console more user freidly.
I copied over the defitition from the 8.5 mods i made for the Help system (::tk::LaunchHelp), which i then bound to the F1 key.
I had to change the link because the help documentation got changed and now points to web based documentation.
I also have a change when you select text , that it is automatically copied to the clipboard, this is extremely useful when doing direct commend sin the console.
If you want to include the changes, i can upload the version of console.tcl i have
