Patched moved to Out of Date, as 8.3.2/8.4a2 already handled the necessary bits in Tcl. bitwalk added on 2000-11-16 08:14:54: Yes, I agree with your opinion. This patches for Tcl and Tk are based on the patches whitch were made for 8.3.1 by Motonori Hirano, SRA.In 8.3.1, initializing encoding on Tcl was not suitable for XIM, but now, later than 8.3.2, this issue has been fixed. As shown in this patch, it is no need for Tcl to patch. Just only for technical reason, I am sorry I was not able to stop patching to Tcl so as to compile without error. Please apply Tk side patch to enable XIM if compiled without error. Thank you. Keiichi Takahashi dkf added on 2000-11-15 22:20:35: Why on earth does this patch need to be applied to Tcl? Couldn't it all be applied to just Tk instead? |
