Description: |
Based on a brief encounter with tclAlloc.c, I have my doubts that the code works correctly on 64-bit systems. The code appears to be unused and untested in default builds. Are there any known testers? If not, is it time to purge this bit of dead code? | |||

It may have become stale, but I'm not sure that it is ready for complete removal. This should be brought up on tcl-core and possibly news:clt before it is made final. dgp added on 2009-08-25 04:03:00: Attached patch purges the apparently dead code. Will commit in a few days unless someone objects. dgp added on 2009-08-25 04:02:31: File Added - 340398: 2557696.patch |
