Description: | ||||
The INSTALL.tcl file requires Tk for two messages. I'd suggest if Tk is not found the messages are displayed to stdout via puts. Not all tdbc users will be using Tk.
anonymous claiming to be dereckson added on 2010-06-30 03:21:57:
Currently, tk is only required to build tdbc::mysql | ||||

I can't find a history of install.tcl anywhere in TDBC or in any TDBC drivers. Tk doesn't seem to be a requirement for TDBC or any TDBC driver. I think this can be closed as 'not a bug'. kbk added on 2017-12-12 19:36:55: (text/x-fossil-plain) install.tcl was an artifact from before TDBC was promoted to the Tcl core, to allow early adopters to install a Windows binary distribution in an existing Tcl installation. This distribution mode is no longer supported, and install.tcl is not a current installation method. |
